Department Function

The 县法官 is appointed by the Commissioners to advise the Board, the 县经理 and department heads on all legal matters related to the operation of County government.

The 县法官's office is responsible for seeing to it that affairs and actions of 达勒姆郡 are conducted in accordance with federal, state and local laws. Legal opinions are provided on all laws, contracts, leases, deeds and other legal documents.
